Development and Implementation of a National GeoGuide Training Program
Project Description
Through this new training program, aspiring Swiss GeoGuides will be equipped to convey Switzerland’s diverse geological topics to guests in a way that is easy to understand, well-founded, and experiential—all in the guests’ respective native languages.
As part of the project’s implementation, three nationwide training courses are planned for 2027 in French, Italian, and German. The Swiss GeoGuide training program consists of three modules that are completed within one year. Upon passing the exam, participants receive the Swiss GeoGuide license, marking the completion of the program.
