On June 2, five associations from all parts of the country and language regions founded the umbrella organization “geoparks.ch” in Bern.
At the founding meeting, chaired by former National Council member Thomas Egger, the bylaws were adopted and the association’s governing bodies were appointed. Géraldine Regolini is the first president of geoparks.ch.
